One installation note specific to 996 and 986 vehicles equipped with the Bose sound system: the subwoofer in the passenger footwell will need to be temporarily removed. Look through the vent openings for a torx fastener, remove it, then slide the sub rearward to disengage it from the retaining tabs. Once clear, installation proceeds normally. Compatible with both right-hand and left-hand drive vehicles.

No. The mount installs using existing OEM hardware where applicable, leaving your interior unmodified.
My 996 has the Bose sound system — does that affect installation?

Will the wireless charging version work with my iPhone's MagSafe?
