Progress report on our customer’s 1968 Porsche 911S! We have finished all of the necessary body repairs and finished the paint work. We’ve sprayed the car back to its original color of “Polo Red”. We are currently color sanding the car to bring it to a high mirror shine.

The next step will be to reassemble the car. This means that not only do we have to put together the body we will also begin putting together the mechanical and electric parts of the car. We will have to put the motor in which we have had completed for several months. We will also have to start running wires throughout the car and much more.

Once we’ve finished reassembling the car we will then move onto the interior. More pictures to come of this classic Porsche.

Gordon NesbittWas this a Euro car? My understanding was that the '68 S models were not imported to the US due to regulatory issues and were instead replaced by the 911L.

Today we finished work on our customer’s 2009 Porsche Cayman. He frequently uses this car as a track day car and brought it to us to make some adjustments that will make it handle better while out on the track.

We removed the original stock springs and replaced them with H&R lowering springs. This will improve the handling of the car when going around corners. The front spring came out very easily as opposed to the rear springs. To remove the rear spring we had to remove most of the rear interior to gain access to bolts that hold the springs in place. Once that was accomplished it was a matter of installing the new springs and reassembling the car. We then did an alignment on the car.

When installing lowering springs we trust only H&R and Eibach parts.

Our customer recently purchased this 2013 Porsche GT3 Cup Car. We are currently working on a list of repairs/upgrades to ensure the car is track ready for our customer for his next event.

We are repairing the right rear quarter panel in two places, along with the right rocker panel and left rear quarter panel in 3 places. We are also adjusting the gaps on the right front fender.

We’ll also be installing a Recaro racing seat on the passenger side with a Schroth racing harness.

The left front strut and both rear shocks will have to be rebuilt.

Once that is completed all that will be left is to mount and balance all 8 tires and this car will be ready to hit the track.
