Whether you need a full concours restoration or targeted mechanical and cosmetic work, we understand what these cars require.
How long does a Porsche restoration take?
Timeline depends on the scope of work. A focused cosmetic restoration — paint correction, bodywork, and refinishing — typically takes 2 to 4 weeks. A full mechanical and body restoration involving engine rebuilding, suspension renewal, and complete paint can take 3 to 6 months. We provide a detailed timeline estimate at your initial consultation.
Do you perform Porsche engine and transmission rebuilds as part of a restoration?
Yes. Our technicians are fully equipped to rebuild Porsche engines and transmissions in-house, including air-cooled flat-six engines, water-cooled variants, manual gearboxes, and PDK units. Engine and transmission rebuilding is a core part of our full restoration service.
What paint and bodywork technology do you use for Porsche restoration?
We use waterborne paints applied in our 2011 Spray-Tech/Junair America spray booth with a fully filtered airflow system. For frame and structural work we use the CAR-BENCH Piranha frame bench, working from manufacturer blueprint data to within one millimeter of original specifications.
Can you match original Porsche factory paint colors?
Yes. We can match any original Porsche factory color including rare and special order colors. Paint matching is performed using current spectrophotometer technology to ensure an accurate color match to your vehicle's original finish.
